Paul was born in Ebbw Vale, South Wales, on February 4th 1955.
He attended Waunlwyd Primary and Junior School before going on to Ebbw Vale Grammar leaving with 10 ‘O’ Levels and 3 ‘A’ levels in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.
Paul then worked in British Steel as a computer programmer moving to the Civil Service as a system analyst before changing direction totally and becoming a professional squash player.
After playing on the pro. circuit for many years, Paul eventually became a squash coach and continued playing on the veteran circuit where he went on to become British Champion at over 35 and over 45 level and runner up in the British Open over 45 championships. He has represented England as well as Wales at international veteran level.
In between all of the above Paul had time to play semi professional football for Ebbw Vale in the Welsh Premier Division and also played Subbuteo at International level gaining more than 100 caps for Wales and also represented Great Britain. He was undefeated Welsh Champion for 10 consecutive years.
Later on he went to college and left as a qualified physiologist and for many years treated sports injuries and associated problems.
Paul has also done some oil painting in his free time and succeeded in selling eighteen landscapes.
Currently living in the south of France with his wife Karen, Paul is always surrounded by cats. At the moment Sasha and her daughter Millie are the permanent residents but Junior and Choochie pay visits for food and company from time to time.
